“Sammi J” was the doeling out of Rosie that was supposed to join the Dynamic herd in California as a swap for Cruiser. Already having a number of black does in her herd, Patty decided to pass on Sammi, and wait for a red doe kid. Kellie took full advantage of that situation, and has claimed Sammi as her own.
We are proud of Sammi and couldn’t be more pleased with the way she’s matured. She is a very dairy doe, and is open and wide throughout. Sammi was GCH in 2 of her first 3 rings of 2010 , which helped finish her championship. Sammi was chosen Best Senior Doe In Show at the NJ State 4-H Dairy Goat Show last August…Congrats Kellie & Sammi!!
Sammi’s daughter, April, is quite the sensation, and is everything we have been striving for in our breedings…and we are looking forward to welcoming more Sammi daughters to our herd this spring. With a little luck, Sammi will have multiple kids this spring (rather than the huge single bucks she’s had) and will really come into herself in time for the 2011 Nationals in Springfield this summer! Sammi was bred to Rebel for late February kids.
